Pre Thanksgiving OOTD.......

Today I wore this wonderful thrifted vintage tapestry blazer.   I absolutely love this blazer.  The fit is amazing and I love the length.  The exaggerated shoulder.........they have this really cool point to them......very very chic.  I paired it with a thrifted vintage 80s sheer blouse with a pussybow.....added skinny jeans and Jeffery Campbell inspired boots.

Yes I did wear this to the Supermarket to do my Thanksgiving shopping......:)

Sometimes I just love to wear to much jewelry :)

I can not believe that it has been so long since I posted on my blog :(   Time flies so quickly at this time of the year.  I have taken so many pics of outfits but never got around to uploading any of them.........very bad of my.  I am going to try and be much better at blogging since we are in the holiday season and I will wearing all kinds of cool fun outfits.  I hope to wear a lot of vintage but plan on wearing a few new things.

Hubby and I did some major thrifting this past weekend.  We started in our small town then moved on to the city where he works and finally ended up in the Los Angeles area,  I found some really wonderful things including this vintage white Ralph Lauren dress.   It is sheer so most would think it is not a great buy for the Fall/ Winter season but I grabbed it anyway.  I knew that all I had to do was put a slip under it, add black tights and boots and now I have a Fall/Winter outfit!!!   I piled on tons of jewelry cause I love it :0  I think the look turned out great!!!
When you are thrifting don't pass on the summer dresses because they can easily turn into cool weather wear by adding tights and a jacket or coat............

Fall Vintage Preppy.......

Well I can’t believe that it has been a week since I last posted!!!! I guess the time just slipped away from me.  It really doesn’t seem as if I had all the much going on but I guess I did…….lol

Today I decided to go a bit casual with my outfit.  I want to go thrifting but needed something easy to move around in yet still wanted a cute look.  I went with all thrifted stuff ……..I call it my “preppy” look.

I wore a DVF  ( Diane Von Furstenberg)  camp shirt that I thrifted sometime last year with a pair of high waist stripped pants and off white new buck loafers and a denim jacket that was not thrifted but is wayyyyy old.………..so comfy yet still stylish.  Looking simple can still be stylish…………so ladies when you are just running around town shopping or doing errands………..ditch the sweats and opt for a more put together yet easy outfit like this one.  Hope everyone is enjoying their week!!

Anthropologie Look On A Thrifty Budget!!!

This dress was a major find……….it is a vintage 80s look that has a 1940s style.  I paired it with navy tights because it was really chilly today and then added the menswear heels……in green and a green belt to cinch in the waist.    I also added one of my favorite vintage bags……..it is from the 60s.  To top it off I added a vintage trench coat for the rainy weather that we really never got.
